Person Details
A person’s page carries their headshot and biography above their filmography, split by what they did on each film.
Biography
Section titled “Biography”The header pairs the headshot with the name, the department the metadata provider files them under, and the biography. Born, Died and Birthplace are always shown, with a dash where the detail isn’t known yet, so the page keeps its layout as the detail fills in. The TMDb Person link opens their entry on the metadata provider’s own site.
Biographical detail arrives in the background over many runs of the metadata jobs rather than all at once, so a page you open the day a title is imported may have a name and a headshot and nothing else until later runs fill in the rest.
Filmography
Section titled “Filmography”Acting and Directing are separate sections, each counting and listing only that kind of credit. A person with only one kind of credit gets only that section.
Films someone both acted in and directed appear in both sections. Each section runs newest release first, and every poster opens that movie’s details page.
Only titles you’re allowed to see are listed, so the sections on an account with a content rating limit are shorter than on an unrestricted one, and the counts match what’s shown.
